Elsa PÉPIN has taken up her post as Sub-Prefect of Le Havre
Succeeding Gilles QUENEHERVE, who was appointed Prefect of Lozère, Elsa PÉPIN officially took up her new post as Sub-Prefect of Le Havre on 20 January 2025.
Originally from Grenoble, she previously served as Sub-Prefect of Loches before holding several posts within the Ministry of the Interior in Paris. She had been Deputy Director of Personnel at the Paris Police Prefecture since 2022.
She is delighted with this appointment, describing it as “a wonderful post in a beautiful region with significant challenges”. However, it is a real challenge: her first appointment in an urban, maritime and rural area comprising 149 municipalities.
With issues such as port security, the fight against drug trafficking, agriculture-related challenges, economic matters and the regeneration of the region, Elsa Pépin is keen to meet with local stakeholders.
This is a priority as she wishes to “get to know the region and its characteristics”.
Frédéric JOUBERT, new Chair of the UIMM Eure Seine Estuaire Training Centre
Frédéric JOUBERT has been appointed Chair of the UIMM Eure Seine Estuary Training Centre, succeeding Bruno POTIER, who is taking up the post of Chair of ITII Normandy.
He has held positions of responsibility in the fields of human resources, continuing professional development and
career management. He helped to establish the UIMM’s national collective agreement for the metalworking sector.
Véronika ROUS has been appointed Director of the ENSM in Le Havre
Having joined the ENSM in September 2019 as Head of Quality, Internal Audit and Management Control, Véronika ROUS has been appointed Director of the ENSM in Le Havre. She succeeded Guillaume de Beauregard.
Her previous role enabled her to gain expertise in the field of higher maritime education, in both regulatory and pedagogical terms.
Very proud of this appointment, she knows she can “rely on the teaching, administrative and technical teams to support the students, with the aim of doubling the number of graduates by 2027 ” and to raise the profile of “the school and the beautiful city of Le Havre, whilst continuing to play an active role in local life”.
