Keen to promote training for careers in the port environment within the Le Havre area, the UMEP is organising a special event at the Carré des Docks next March: the ‘LH Port Days’.

This ‘job dating’ event is eagerly anticipated by maritime and port companies as a way to showcase the roles and career opportunities within an extremely dynamic sector. Bringing together all the key players in the training sector in Le Havre and beyond along the Seine corridor, the UMEP aims to position these inaugural Le Havre maritime employment fairs within the context of the port’s growing activity, which is prompting companies to expand their workforce.

As a long-standing partner of training organisations, UMEP is thus fulfilling its role as a link between companies seeking to recruit new staff and young people wishing to embark on training programmes offering genuine career opportunities.

The ‘LH Port Days’, taking place from 23 to 25 March 2023, will enable these young people to discover a wide range of training programmes – some of which are little known – from pre-A-level to postgraduate level.
