Ludivine BAYON, New Chief Executive of UMEP

Ludivine Bayon has joined the UMEP team as General Delegate, succeeding Benoît Emringer.

She has stepped down from her role as Director of Regional Relations at the Le Havre Seine Métropole (LHSM) Urban Community, where she also served as Deputy Chief Executive.

She has a thorough understanding of the key economic challenges facing this region, which are closely linked to major port development projects.

We wish her every success in her new role!

Francis GRIMAUD elected President of the French Maritime and Port Union

On the sidelines of the Assises de l’Economie de la Mer in Bordeaux, the French Maritime and Port Union (UMPF) held its elective General Assembly on 18 November.

This report contains four major proposals, including the need for the Presidents of each maritime union to sit on the Supervisory Board of the major seaports (as ex officio members or, at the very least, permanent guests), thereby strengthening public-private dialogue.

Another proposal was that the government should submit an annual report to Parliament on the progress of public initiatives undertaken in the maritime and port sector and those planned for the future.

Jonathan BOULANGER, new General Delegate of the UIMM Le Havre Region

After serving as Managing Director of the UIMM Eure Seine Estuary Training Centre for five years, Jonathan Boulanger joined the UIMM Le Havre Region.

He now holds the position of General Delegate there.
