Cruise: the Queen Anne’s maiden port of call
The Queen Anne made her maiden call at Porte Océane on 16 December 2024. As a sister ship to the Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth, and Cunard’s latest cruise liner, they form a luxurious quartet. Measuring 322 metres in length, this latest addition can carry nearly 3,000 passengers.
This cruise ship can connect to shore power, which reinforces Haropa Port’s commitment to continuing its work on the electrification of the quays at Pointe de Floride.
The equipment for Hangar 13, which is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment, is being installed and will eventually enable the conversion and distribution of electricity to ships calling at the port.
