He incorporates measures designed to avoid, reduce or offset impacts on biodiversity. He works alongside numerous partners in the design and implementation of these nature conservation and management projects.

Sectors and organisations

Environmental engineering specialists most often work for major chemical, oil or agri-food groups, which, in response to increasingly stringent regulations, have expanded their environmental departments. The industrial sector (construction and civil engineering, automotive, chemicals, etc.) – and particularly those sectors involved in water or waste treatment – are in high demand for recent graduates, as are specialist engineering and consultancy firms. A few roles requiring this qualification also exist within major French ports.
