The lorry driver is responsible for the maintenance of their vehicle and the proper handling of their cargo. Their role involves collecting, transporting and delivering the cargo, whilst ensuring it remains in good condition and that delivery deadlines are met. Their work varies depending on the nature of the goods being transported and the type of journey undertaken, whether over short distances (regional transport) or across France and abroad (national and international transport).
