Following the announcement of the roll-out of the ‘Hub One Connect’In’ software suite across nearly 400 logistics sites in 18 countries, ID Logistics has signed a new contract with Hub One to roll out the “Hub One Immersive” solution, a digital twin technology enabling real-time visualisation of warehouse operations.

The two companies have been collaborating since 2015, having already implemented voice-activated solutions and standardised the user interfaces of their various business solutions.

The ‘Hub One Immersive’ solution enables 3D modelling of data from connected devices in warehouses, providing a comprehensive overview on a single screen.

It also provides historical data visualisation and future forecasts using artificial intelligence. Tests have been carried out in a modern, automated French warehouse to validate and refine the technology in line with the needs of ID Logistics and its customers.

ID Logistics is currently working to determine the commercial value of this technology in order to assess the necessary investment against the return on investment.
