Rodolphe GINTZ: New Managing Director of Infrastructure, Transport and Mobility

Rodolphe GINTZ, Inspector-General of Finance, has been appointed Director-General for Infrastructure, Transport and Mobility, with effect from 2 January 2024. Announced at the Council of Ministers on Wednesday 20 December 2023, this appointment is the subject of a decree published in the Official Journal on Thursday 21. Rodolphe GINTZ will replace Thierry COQUIL, who took up his post as head of the DGITM in November 2022.

Rodolphe GINTZ, aged 46, headed the Directorate-General for Customs and Indirect Taxes (DGDDI) from 2017 to 2019 before joining the General Inspectorate of Finance, where he served as interministerial coordinator for Brexit and then as director of the interministerial Covid crisis centre from August 2021 to September 2022.

He served as financial adviser to François HOLLANDE from 2015 to 2017, and as adviser to Jean-Marc AYRAULT at Matignon from 2012 to 2014, following an early career at the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, where he notably managed the transport budget from 2006 to 2008.
