Signing of the XPLH CSR Youth Charter
Born out of a multi-stakeholder initiative (Mission Locale, Le Havre Estuaire Littoral and the Rotary Club of Le Havre), the XPLH charter aims to highlight businesses that wish to promote their sector and pass on their expertise to young people in the Le Havre conurbation.
The idea is that local businesses and organisations should get involved in supporting young people’s training and access to employment in the Le Havre area.
It enables young people in the region to access a network of professionals from both the private and public sectors and facilitates networking opportunities for them.
It is in this spirit of promoting maritime and port-related careers that the UMEP signed the XPLH CSR Youth Charter on 25 March during the LH PORT DAYS.
Through this initiative, UMEP aims to encourage training and skills development for young people in the Le Havre Seine Métropole urban area in the maritime and port sectors.
