The ‘Alliance Premier’ marks Yang Ming’s return to Le Havre

The YM Wreath, a Yang Ming container ship, called at Le Havre on 7 May 2025, marking the Taiwanese shipping company’s return to the Normandy port after several years’ absence. The call was made as part of the Alliance Premier, which brings together ONE, HMM and Yang Ming.

Measuring 368 metres in length and with a capacity of 14,000 TEU, it is one of the Taiwanese shipping company’s largest vessels. It operates on the FE4 route between Asia and Europe.

The Alliance Premier was officially launched with the port calls in late April 2025 of the HMM Oslo, a 24,000 TEU container ship, and the One Integrity, also with a capacity of 24,000 TEU, on 13 May. An inaugural call for the largest vessel in the One fleet.

The call by the YM Wreath was handled by GMP at the Terminal de France.

Haropa Port Le Havre states that this demonstrated “the appeal and competitiveness of the Port of Le Havre’s infrastructure, recognised as a leading hub by the three Asian shipping lines”.
