ACCOUNTANT
Description
All businesses employ or engage the services of an accountant. They record the company’s daily expenditure, income and investments. They may also, through cost accounting, analyse production costs or turnover by product and draw up the annual balance sheet under the supervision of a chartered accountant.

Educational qualifications and training
Accounting and management qualifications
Two years’ further education (Bac + 2): BTS in Accounting and Management; Professional qualification as an accounting and tax manager
Bac + 3 Various BUTs in business and public administration management Professional Bachelor’s degrees specialising in management and accounting professions (management control, taxation, accounting and financial management, client portfolio manager in an accountancy firm, auditing Specialised training: CS (Certificate of Specialisation) in agricultural accounting and management consultancy
