The HR Director’s responsibilities are varied. Above all, they are responsible for defining the recruitment policy and managing the company’s human and social relations. Depending on the size of the organisation, they may carry out recruitment themselves or delegate it to deputies. Managing individual and collective disputes can be a significant part of their role. They usually report to senior management, as their work has a direct impact on the company’s costs and profits. They must also anticipate the human and social impacts associated with organisational changes.

Five years of higher education following the baccalaureate; numerous degrees from Institutes of Political Studies; Master’s degrees in labour economics / human resources management; degrees from the Grande École Programme (Audencia, ICN, BSB, EMLV, INSEEC, ISG Paris, Neoma BS, ESDES)
Sectors and organisations
Small or large companies, government departments, associations – any organisation that employs staff requires the skills of a Head of Human Resources.
