As the person responsible for IT security and data protection within an organisation, the engineer implements security measures, monitors network activity and detects threats. They are also responsible for responding to security incidents and implementing disaster recovery plans to minimise the damage caused by successful cyber-attacks.

Six years of higher education: Engineering degree specialising in security for IT systems and communications; Specialised Master’s in Cybersecurity / IT Security / Manager of Information Systems Infrastructure and Cybersecurity (CESI)
