HEAD OF RISK MANAGEMENT
The risk management officer assesses and anticipates threats (accidents, cyber-attacks, financial losses, etc.). They also identify opportunities that could provide a competitive advantage. Their role is therefore to propose a plan of preventive action to senior executives and managers.

Educational qualifications and training
Competitive examination for customs officers (Category C in the civil service), open to candidates with at least the national brevet certificate (end of Year 9) for the external examination. This examination is organised annually by the DGFIP under the supervision of the State.
Sectors and organisations
Upon passing the competitive examination, customs inspectors become civil servants. They report to the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Recovery, and are attached to the Directorate-General of Customs and Indirect Taxes (DGDDI). In the Commercial Operations and General Administration Control branch (OP/CO AG), duties include monitoring cases, meeting with businesses, providing information to exporting companies and preparing case files for presentation in court, for example. The work is carried out both in the field and in an office.
