The warehouse manager organises and coordinates operations relating to the physical flow of goods (receipt, storage and order fulfilment), whilst taking into account requirements regarding quality, productivity, costs, lead times and safety. They lead a team and work to improve work processes.

Two years’ post-A-level study (BTS) in Transport Management and Associated Logistics

Two years’ further education (Bac + 3): University Technical Diploma (BUT) in Logistics and Transport Management Professional Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Process Management

Bac + 5 Business School Diploma, Engineering Degree, or University Master’s in Logistics

Sectors and organisations

They may work for a logistics provider specialising in warehousing. This could include warehouses within a central purchasing organisation, in the retail sector, for transport companies or for large industrial firms.
